Privacy Policy

Written to be read. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it rather than point at a clause.

What we collect

Account details you give us (name, business name, email, phone). Business data you enter (customers, jobs, estimates, invoices, hours, materials). Technical data your browser sends (IP address, browser type, pages visited). Payment details are handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your card number.

Why we collect it

To provide the service you signed up for, to bill you, to keep the system secure, and to answer you when you contact support. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Your business data belongs to you

The customers, jobs and invoices you enter are yours. We process them to run the service and for nothing else. We do not use your business data to train models or to build products for anyone else.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers we need to run the product — hosting, email delivery and payment processing — and only to the extent required. Each is bound by contract to protect it. We publish the current list on request.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. After you cancel, business data is retained for a limited period so you can export it, then deleted. Records we are legally required to keep, such as billing records, are kept for the statutory period and nothing longer.

Your choices

You can access, export, correct or delete your data at any time from within the app, or by writing to us. If you are in a state with specific privacy rights, those rights apply and we honor them regardless of where you live.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access by our staff is limited to what support genuinely requires and is logged. If a breach ever affected your data, we would tell you — promptly and in plain language.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your display preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

Who is responsible

The operating entity for WorksiteBase in the United States is being established. Until the registration is complete, questions about your data go to hello@worksitebase.com and are answered by the team that runs the service.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect — by email, not by quietly updating a date at the bottom of a page.
